Making Medium Better
Simple Suggestion to make medium even better
Hello Readers 👋
Hope you all are doing great! As someone who loves using Medium, I have got a few ideas on how medium can make this platform even more awesome. some simple improvements that could really amp up the user experience:
1. Better TTS Story Reading:
The voice that reads stories out loud right now sounds too much like a robot. It would be awesome if Medium could make it sound more natural, so we enjoy listening to stories.
2. Fixing Mistakes Automatically:
It would be great if a medium AI could fix our typos and errors, making our writing better.
3. Real-Time Reader Engagement:
As writers, we’d love to know who is reading our stuff instantly. Imagine if we could see how many people are checking out our articles and where they are from in real-time.
4. Mobile-Friendly Stats:
The numbers that show how our stories are doing and followers are sometimes slow on phones. We get the notification that this person follows you but on phone it takes too long to Update the list. It would be better if we get quick and instant stats on our mobiles, just like on the web.
5. Fixing Comments and Following:
We are having trouble seeing comments and following others, It always says you can not follow and also be the first to comment but there are people who have commented on the story earlier. It would be great if Medium could fix these issues so we can interact better and see other peoples opinion on topics.
6. Clear Partner Program Stats:
The Partner Program is cool, but sometimes the numbers don’t make sense. Lets make sure the stats show us how well our articles are doing, so we know what works and can create more cool stuff.
7. Report the Comment:
When I report a comment, it currently says the whole story is reported, but I’m actually reporting just the comment. It would be better if it showed that I reported a comment specifically.
Also, there are lots of scammers, like someone pretending to be Barack Obama , leaving comments. It would be good to stop these fake profiles to make Medium safer for everyone.
